 You can download the game here. Besides the latest version, you can also download older versions if you prefer a simpler experience. Additionally, you can download the Python IDLE (Integrated Development and Learning Environment), which can run the game.


  • Python IDLE 3.14 - Python's official tool for running the game. (Released October 7, 2025. If you would prefer a later version, download it from python.org.)
  • v1.1 - Added home runs and more pitches. (Latest Version - Written June 19, 2026, released June 23, 2026)
  • v1.0 - The original version of the game, featuring four pitches and three outcomes. Originally a school project. (Written May 17-31, 2026, originally released on inactive Wix site)

Previously, the Python Pitching Simulator was on a Wix site. However, I realized soon enough that you have to pay  to sell items on Wix, even though the items (the game files) were free! I was very upset by this. I considered free hosting services, but I was too lazy to code. It had been around a year since I last made an HTML project. So, I used Blogger. Today, the Python Pitching Simulator is now downloadable from Blogger! Regarding the two versions you will find on the website, v1.0 was the only version on the Wix website. It is the same game as the school project, featuring three possible outcomes: Strike, Ball, and Base Hit. It also featured four pitches: Four-Seam Fastball, Changeup, Cutter, and Curveball. With the arrival of v1.1, two pitches have been introduced: the Slider and the Sinker. Additionally, if you make a very bad pitch, the batter can hit a home run.
